Ruth’s Herring
with egg, tomato and onion

Henry is a restaurant in Gammelholm, Copenhagen. Smørrebrød for lunch and a bistro at night. Created by Jonas Mikkelsen and Rasmus Mørch.
Welcome to Henry.
With a few simple ingredients, the Danish lunch tradition unfolds, with smørrebrød at its heart. In the evening, the menu is a handful of simple elements that need no further introduction. Restaurateur Jonas Mikkelsen’s classic background, and his kitchen at Magny, shine through in his interpretations of smørrebrød and the pared-back dinner plate.
Henry celebrates true craftsmanship and the best ingredients. Always with a sustainable approach, and a focus on animal welfare and responsible fishing.
Jonas Mikkelsen and Rasmus Mørch worked side by side at Hotel Frederiksminde and are today also behind the counter restaurant Magny. At Henry, they bring together many years of experience in a restaurant that can be a good lunch, a full evening, and a place to come back to on an ordinary weekday.
